Gabriel Gaté is a French Chef who moved to Australia in 1977 with his Melbourne-born wife Angie.
There, he established himself as a popular chef in Melbourne and has became one of the leading cook influences. He has an international reputation as a cookery author, television presenter and cookery teacher.
He also leads Australian groups in a « Gourmet Tour de France » almost every year. We are proud to be part of his French program and to welcome his group to share the discovery of FrenchCuisine. Last time we cooked two dishes :
- Duck breast with blackcurrant sauce and pumpkin flan with gingerbread flavor
- Strawberry on a shortbread, pistachio cream and raspberry coulis served with a verbana sorbet.
It has been a pleasure to share the meal altogether in the garden !
